This Friday we will throw down when Megadeth, Fear Factory and Nonpoint throw down in Midland and Dave Mustaine of Megadeth took some time and called in to The Wrecking Yard to talk about the holidays and moving to Texas, just yet.

Tomorrow night our buddies Nonpoint will be back in the Hub City for a Tuesday rock and roll confab.

If you were at the Big Purple Party back in April you know the serious damage our buddies Nonpoint did when they were in town for that unforgettable day of rock here in the Hub City.

21 bands, 13 hours of music what could go wrong? To answer, that absolutely nothing.

After being in this business for 30 years, it doesn't take long for me to find out if a band produces a good or bad interview. I knew when Elias Soriano and Rasheed Thomas broke out the James Brown, it was going to be a killer interview.

Tonight it's on when Nonpoint and Taproot take the stage in The Backroom located at Jake's 50th and Slide.

Taproot are back and are reaching even deeper to bring you rock with meaning.  The new song "The Everlasting" seems to be a cross between the events of September 11th and a relationship.  The song comes off as Taproot meets U2 and it's absolutely chilling.  More after the jump.
