I love making these little YouTube playlists.  Today, even though a cold has kicked me in the crotch until I'm black and blue, I'm at least down with the thought of "partying".  Sure, my kind of partying this weekend will involve a red onesie and some chicken soup, but it will be a relief to put my feet up for a little bit.

I've got another screaming five pack for ya. This is my follow up to "Five Songs That Are Better Than An Energy Drink" list. That list leaned a little punk. This list will lean a little old school metal.

So what is "Zen"? It's actually a meditative state.  I don't much about it. I do know that there are some songs that somehow "suck me in" to such a degree that all I can do is relax and listen and to me, that is "Zen".
