The Lubbock Matadors Soccer Club is the newest entertainment event.

They have their first 5V5 league in Lubbock plus they will also have rental spaces if you need them for practice as well.

Move over Ted Lasso, minor league soccer is coming to Lubbock in 2022 according to a press release from the new club being built in Lubbock. The Lubbock Matadors will begin play in May of 2022 here in Lubbock. The Matadors will play in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) which, according to the team's site and a press release has close to 100 teams across the United States participating... R

Earlier this week, soccer star David Beckham pulled double-duty as a security guard and helped to apprehend a fan who had run onto the field at Old Trafford in Manchester, England.
