I love first person shooters and just recently got back into gaming. I've done a little "Aliens: Colonial Marines" and some "Left 4 Dead 2".  The footage from Battlefield 4 makes both those games look like they were made 5 years ago.  Now, you guys are more experienced than me, but this looks about as realistic as it gets.  More after the jump.

One of Marvels most off-the-wall characters is set to star in a new video game. Deadpool "The 'merc with a mouth" will be featured on a cross-platform game coming in December. In anticipation of the release Marvel & Activision have already released a trailer and are taking pre-orders. Details after the jump.

I'm not a very good person to review video/computer games.  I basically took a break from the whole mess for about 15 years.  For that same reason, I may be able to offer you a pretty fresh viewpoint on the whole thing.  I'm not going to give stars or tech specs or anything, but I can tell you the good and the bad in pretty simple terms.  More after the jump.

I HATED "turn-based" role-playing games.  I know a lot of people loved the early Final Fantasy type games when you threw a spell during your turn and it did "x' amount of points of damage, then the monster did something and did 'z' amount of damage to you. I thought they sucked, and now I'm hooked on what is just a slightly bigger version of those type of games.  More after the jump

The Dead or Alive fighter series has always worked its sales pitches like this: Come for the bouncing racks sported by its comely fighters, stay for the balanced brawling and finely-tuned physics.

Like a dude using a laptop with his pants around his ankles, Kratos has always been known for doing his own thing. The rage-fueled Spartan has gotten his rocks off by slashing enemies into oblivion. Everyone onscreen, even innocent bystanders, were nothing but fleshy balloons to be popped into red level-up orbs. But his next game, God of War Ascension, will change all that.

There has been a metric poop ton of 3DS games and apps worth downloading, but the more you snatched up, the harder it became to access your stuff. The system’s aggravating interface lined up your games into a never-ending row of boxes, making it take forever to get to whatever you’re looking for. But, if you download the latest system update, you can finally reshape the menu.
