There for a few days toward the end of 2011 it looked like maybe residents of Lubbock might be able to ease off the current water restrictions we have been on for the past several months. I know I got a little wood at the thought of buying fireworks to shoot off on New Years Eve.

It's your "last chance to water-dance" this weekend at the City of Lubbock pools.  I know we're keeping the budget down, but would it hurt to keep them open a little while longer?  Read more after the break.
