In this line of work, I meet a lot of people, and aside from people I have given nicknames...Badger, Artimus, Heathen.... don't worry, I'm not talking about you guys. I have not really come across anyone with a truly unusual name that has made me wonder what their parents were thinking when they named them.

I remember when I was a kid, I was always taking odd jobs to earn extra money. I would mow lawns, walk dogs, wash cars, pretty much anything someone was willing to pay me to do, well, I would do it... Within reason, and for the right price.

I bet every guy reading this will say that he is a man's man, a tough guy, a man who is not afraid of anything, including snakes and spiders. Am I right?

We are all used to seeing commercials on TV, hearing adds on the radio, and these days we are even getting used to seeing commercials before a movie starts, even at the beginning of a DVD. And don't even get me started on the whole product placement thing going on these days in movies and on television.

Imagine if you will, it's a warm and sunny summer afternoon; so you and your friends head to the beach to play some volleyball, catch a few waves, or maybe just soak up the sun... To me that sounds like the perfect way to spend a summer day.

In this line of work, I have had the privilege of meeting many great people and have collected a lot of great memorabilia over the years. We have everything from guitar picks and drum sticks, to official autographed drum-heads and guitars and gold records from various bands scattered through out the house.

How many times have you come home from a nice vacation only to come down with a cold or sore throat a few days later? If you're anything like me, a very common occurrence is having a headache the first few days back, which I have finally figured out are actually vacation hangovers.

If it is possible to love and hate something at the same time, then I love and hate this time of year. Contradiction, I know but there are things I really like about January and there are things about January that really irritate me. Things like New Years resolutions.

I have already told you all about some oddly named restaurants that I would love to visit, if for no other reason than to say I have been to them. I mean really who would not want to be able to tell their friends they ate at " Pho King Way."
