Take A Stand Against Bullying October 18th On Spirit Day

Spirit Day is a day to go purple and take a stand against bullying, particularly against LGBTQ youth.

I would be lying if I said I completely understand everything about the LGBTQ community. I'll also admit that it took me a minute to guess what all those initials stood for.  I just keep going back to the fact that people have one life to live and as long as they are not hurting anyone, they should be allowed to live it.

Spirit Day has lined up an impressive list of corporate sponsors including Target, Wells Fargo, Hilton, the NBA/WNBA, Johnson & Johnson and others. There is a place to take the pledge and join in supporting the cause. If nothing else, throw on some purple on October 18th.
