Four runs here, five runs there...it was a big day for the Red Raiders on the diamond. An offensive onslaught coupled with a gem of an outing from starting pitcher Steven Gingery split the series with the Aggies after a 14-2 final.

Gingery logged 5.1 innings and during that time allowed only two runs on four hits and a walk. The biggest stat, however, is in those 5.1 innings Gingery logged 12 strikeouts.

That performance, along with five homers from the plate from Tech's offense allowed the Raiders to put away the Aggies. Tech scored four runs in the second, two in the third another in the fifth, two in the seventh and then five in the eighth.

Tyler Neslony supplied two of the homers and was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate.

The 7-3 Red Raiders host Cal State Fullerton for three games starting Friday night.
