Tech Basketball Falls In Lawrence, Looks To Rebound In Morgantown

Sadly, the wild streak has come to an end. A remarkable run of five wins was thwarted on Saturday at Allen Fieldhouse as the Kansas Jayhawks were just too much for Tech, taking the game (and at least a share of their 12th-straight conference title) by a score of 67-58.

Senior leader Toddrick Gotcher, who's been money from beyond the ark, continued that style of play, sinking five triples and ending with 20 overall. No other Red Raider was able to break into double digits though Keenan Evans tallied nine and Aaron Ross logged eight.

Tech will look to make up for their eighth conference loss in yet another dreadfully tough environment in West Virginia. The game against the Mountaineers will take place Wednesday night at 6pm CT on ESPNU.
