The Red Raiders have a new defensive back coming to the secondary later on this year, as  Douglas Coleman has decommitted from Tulane and decided to don the scarlet and black.

Coleman, who is regarded as a 3-star prospect by both Rivals and Scout, is listed as both a cornerback and wide receiver. More than likely, his skills will be used on the defensive side of the football, but who knows? Maybe he earns some reps on the offensive side as well.

Coleman joins the Red Raiders at 6'1" and 175 pounds, so it makes sense that he's looked at as a corner prospect as the Red Raiders have size coming to the receiving corps in TJ Vasher and Antoine Cox-Wesley, who both stand 6'4".

Welcome to Lubbock, Douglas.
