I think the American people and Texans have started to recognize that this transgender bathroom issue is much ado about nothing. It's a distraction. Other than a few violent and confused types vowing to protect their daughters in the restroom (but they've done nothing to protect their sons), the average Joe just ain't bitin' on this issue anymore.

After Lt. Governor Dan Patrick was sliced and diced on Fox News and MSNBC, Governor Greg Abbott made the rounds to prove that crazy rolls uphill. Interestingly enough, virtually no Texas media outlets are reporting the story, or they are at least burying it. That only means one thing, folks: Texans are tired of this nonsense.

Abbott also tried his hand at being humorous, tweeting the following:

If that single sentence, that single thought, doesn't tell you that Gov. Abbott has no idea what he's talking about, then you just need to talk your cognitive dissonance to a corner and quietly drool over yourself while the rest of us adults have a discussion.

This issue hasn't been a problem. It won't be a problem. Perverts don't need an excuse or law lifted to break the law. Every single objection to this issue has been weigh, measured, disproven and thrown out like week old soup.

Have you wondered "why don't we just vote" on this issue? It's because it's human rights, and we don't vote to discriminate against people. Gov. Abbott sure likes to use the word constitution a lot, but I don't think he knows that that word means, or what's in it.
