Every state has it's problems, and every state likes to blames the others for that fact. Nevada, for instance, ranks #1 when it comes to 'greed' and gambling addition, while New Mexico has the most thefts per capita. The "most time spent on adult entertainment websites" award goes to Mississippi, while the most excessive drinking in the USA is credited to Wisconsin. Well, it turns out Texas can be pretty sinful too!

In a study conducted by WalletHub, the Lone Star State ranked #4 of the most sinful states in the country. They looked at 38 key indicators of immorality, divided into 7 categories:

  1. Anger & Hatred
  2. Jealousy
  3. Excesses & Vices
  4. Greed
  5. Lust
  6. Vanity
  7. Laziness

While Texas ranked #42 and #43 in "excesses & vices," and "greed," we topped the list as the most "lustful" state! "Vanity" and "jealousy" also ranked high at #7.

The numbers are pretty interesting to look over, and WalletHub has put together a very comprehensive system for coming up with it all (you can read it here).
