Texas leads the U.S. in one-way U-Haul trips.

A lot of folks are heading to Texas with no intention of leaving. That's the basic idea at play here. More one-way trips with U-Hauls are booked to Texas than anywhere else. In fact, we added a full percent. Departures from Texas did increase by 3% though, a fact that is attributed to Hurricane Harvey.

So where else are people headed? Florida, Arkansas, South Carolina and Tennessee round out the top five.  So, who's the big loser here? Believe it or not, California has less one-way U-Haul arrivals than anybody.
