The Texas Workforce Commission has released Texas' March unemployment statistics.

The state’s seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate in March remained flat at 4.3 percent, with non-farm employment decreasing by 12,000 jobs for the month.

Lubbock’s unemployment rate rose one-tenth of a percent to 3.3 percent, while Amarillo continues to have the lowest unemployment rate in the state at 3 percent flat.

Other regional unemployment statistics include the Austin-Round Rock area at 3.1 percent unemployment, Abilene at 3.8 percent, Midland at 4.3 percent and Odessa who saw a small climb up to 6.1 percent unemployment.
