Texas Ranks in Top 5 States for Summer Roadtrips

According to wallethub.com, Texas is the forth best state for roadtrips this summer, based on several metrics like gas prices, number of scenic byways and national parks.

The three main categories on which states were "scored" are price, safety and and activities.  Beating out Texas to make the top 3 are Wyoming, North Carolina and Minnesota, respectively.

One thing this analysis didn't consider is that Texas is the only state in which you could visit Paris, Moscow, Dublin and Athens all in one trip.

In case you're wonder which state is the worst- apparently it's Rhode Island.
