After sweeping the New Mexico State Aggies all last weekend here in the Hub City, Texas Tech has cracked the top 25 teams in the nation.

With an encouraging 14-3 record, Texas Tech is starting to turn heads around the nation, even though it is early.

Tech became the first baseball team in the Big 12 to hit 14 wins this season, holding a better record than the #16 Texas Longhorns who are 13-4.

Texas Tech plays Abilene Christian University Tuesday evening at 6:30 at Rip Griffin Park. Tech holds the all-time series lead over the Wildcats at 27-16 and will look to score their 28th victory over ACU as well as their 15th win on the season.
