After an impressive showing over a weekend of four games against Indiana, Texas Tech has gotten off to its most impressive start in years.

Last year's Indiana Hoosiers' team ended up in the NCAA Tournament last year after winning the Big 10 and received a preseason ranking of third in the country. Tech, who hasn't made an NCAA Regional Tournament appearance since 2004, is looking to become an early-season surprise, and with a series win over a very high quality team, Tech has started that task off well.

Tech dropped the first game on Friday against the Hoosiers 1-0, but went on a scoring onslaught on Saturday and Sunday, recording 23 runs in three games. Tech won 10-5 and 6-2 in Saturday's doubleheader and blanked Indiana 7-0 on Sunday afternoon.

Next up for the Red Raiders is Oral Roberts next weekend here in the Hub.
