A slow start for the Red Raiders hung over until partially through the second half, but the Red Raiders stormed back and found a way to win on Sunday afternoon here in Lubbock.

The mark at halftime had the Red Raiders down by 16, and the Falcons would build a 19-point lead during the second half. However, junior Devaugntah Williams and company had other ideas.

Full-court pressure from Tech seemed to slowly get to the Falcons, as Robert Turner wound up with multiple turnovers forced by an aggressive defense. Turner and Williams led the charge with 2:30 to go and Air Force up by nine, as Williams recorded 21 points and Turner hit key free throws, ending up with 19 overall points. Zach Smith and Toddrick Gotcher also had some important contributions as well.

Ultimately, the Raiders took the lead, their only lead of the afternoon, with under 30 seconds left and were able to hold off the Falcons for the win, despite three close shots in the key at the end.

This team has show resilience and drive all year. The games have been a blast to watch, personally, and I honestly think each and every one of us needs to go out and support this team at some point this season. These young men work very hard, and honestly, not a lot of people show up and check out their play. Get out there and support your Red Raider basketball team, folks.
