After a small break for the Texas Tech men's basketball team, the group of men returned to action on Wednesday night, defeating the Bulldogs of Fresno State 73-56.

As promised, this young Texas Tech team is showing how talented it is in these non-conference games. Freshman Josh Gray had arguably the best all-around performance of the night, scoring 16, adding four rebounds, two assists and a steal. Devaugntah Williams did most of the scoring work, though, as he added 17 points; Williams is fast becoming the go-to scorer for the Red Raiders, and why not? He scores.

Fresno State had a solid first half, but Texas Tech's defense in the second proved to just be too much for the Bulldogs.

Texas Tech will play Prairie View A&M on Sunday, the 14th.
