The Texas Tech Red Raiders came into last weekend 10th in the country, but ended up 17th this week after a tough weekend in Norman. Things didn't get any better Tuesday night, as Tech fell again, this time to the New Mexico Lobos

The Red Raiders took the first game 6-1, but were defeated by the Sooners Saturday, as reported, 5-2, and on Sunday by a score of 3-2.

The Red Raiders fell to 16-8 on the season, opening with a 1-2 record for conference play.

Tuesday was a similar story, unfortunately, as Tech did battle with a familiar but non-conference foe in the New Mexico Lobos. The Red Raiders were defeated by New Mexico by a score of 7-6 and tumbled to to 16-9 on the young season.

Next up, the Red Raiders play Kansas right here in the Hub City, starting on Friday evening.
