A rare opportunity to play the Rainbow Warriors yielded a hard-fought matchup for the Red Raiders this past weekend, but Tech found a way to make it happen on the hardwood.

Surprise, surprise; Devaugntah Williams scored the most points yet again. He logged 19 while Norense Odiase tied a career high in points at 16. The Red Raiders went on to win the game at United Supermarkets Arena by an 82-74 final.

Hawaii came in undefeated and the Rainbow Warriors put up a good fight, actually leading the majority of the first half. Aaron Valdes and Isaac Fleming did damage from all points on the court, scoring a combined 46 points.

The Red Raiders now take aim at the Sam Houston State Bearkats, who will visit the Hub on Wednesday night.
