After a loss to then-#16 Utah, the Texas Tech Red Raiders did exactly what they needed to do: bounce back and get two good wins. They took down Mississippi State on Friday, then played a great "redemption" game against Minnesota on Sunday.

The game against Mississippi State was perhaps a lesson in learning on how to maintain a lead no matter the margin. Tech wound up holding on, but the Bulldogs gave it all they had. The final from Friday was 74-72.

Sunday, however, was a much better day all around for the scarlet and black, as everyone got a piece of the sweet, victorious pie. Devaugntah Williams, as always, got the biggest piece of that pie as he amassed a 21-point effort, but four other Red Raiders eclipsed double digits as well. Zach Smith netted 15, Keenan Evans dropped 12, Toddrick Gotcher added 11, and Aaron Ross supplied 10.

Next Saturday, the Red Raiders play host to the Hawaii Warriors at the USA starting at 3:00 PM.
