Texas Tech had it all clicking today as the beat Kansas 65 to 19.

The Texas Tech rushing attack got going early and often, rushing five times on the first drive on the way to the first opening drive touchdown from the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

After stopping Kansas on downs on their opening drive, Desmond Nisby would flash some speed on a 47-yard touchdown drive. The defense would force a stop on downs on a second straight drive before Shimonek would get in on the action throwing a 37 yard touchdown to Quan Shorts.

That would be a 21-0 lead, and it was just the beginning.

Texas Tech would punt on the next two drives before a Dakota Allen interception set the Red Raiders up at the 21-yard line. Desmond Nisby converted this turnaround into a touchdown in three tough carries, making the score 28-7.

Nisby would end his day with 93 yards on 11 carries andĀ four touchdowns. Not to be outdone, Justin Stockton had 161 yards on 15 carries and a touchdown of his own.
