Texas Tech Plays Host To Fairfield Friday

The Texas Tech Red Raiders have their work cut out for them this weekend, as the team will host three other hungry, talented baseball squads eager to usurp Tech's thunder.

First up, Fairfield. The #4 seed in the regional is in its first NCAA Tourney appearance ever, so you know those young men will be jockeying for success.

The double-elimination regional also includes New Mexico as the #3 seed and Dallas Baptist as the #2 seed. Tech is, of course, the #1 seed and obviously has the biggest target on its back.

The regional will begin Friday, as Tech takes the diamond against the Stags at 2:00 PM and Dallas Baptist plays New Mexico at 6.
