Texas Tech Schedule Tabbed As 26th Toughest

As we get closer and closer to football season, we continue to pick apart every little detail about the upcoming games. In a recent article by acclaimed college football writer Phil Steele, who writes the well known "College Football Preview", he gave the Red Raiders' schedule a 26th-toughest rating.

This 26th-toughest rating is also the third-toughest in the Big 12, according to Steele, behind Kansas and Iowa State who hold a 14th and 17th toughest schedule, respectively.

The addition of big name teams, such as Arkansas (with a 2nd toughest schedule) certainly is the reason for this bump in toughness, and it will be a trying year for the Red Raiders as they are undoubtedly in one of the best conferences in the country.
