The Texas Tech Red Raiders are San Diego bound! The announcement came in Sunday night that the Red Raiders will play the 14th-ranked Arizona State Sun Devils in San Diego for the National University Holiday Bowl.

The game will take place on December 30th at 9:15 Central time and be televised on ESPN.

Kliff Kingsbury has his first bowl bid as a head coach, plus with a few weeks of rest and extended time to study film, this team should come out and give Arizona State a good fight.

Arizona State is a damn good team in a damn good conference, so this game will certainly be a tough final exam for the Red Raiders.
