Texas Tech To Play Coastal Carolina In Elimination Game

After a huge 3-2 win over top-seeded Florida on Tuesday, the Red Raiders finally won a CWS game in Omaha and the tree lives to see another day. The Chanticleers will do battle with Tech tonight in what's sure to be a knock-down, drag-out fight to the death.

So what exactly are the Chanticleers all about? Well, Coastal is specifically great on offense. A lineup that prides itself on power, baserunning, and a knack for clutch seeds to the gaps, Coastal Carolina boasts an attack that is simply one of the best in the country, hence why the team's in Omaha.

Texas Tech has been solid in all phases on the diamond, and the balanced, steadfast operative will have to be on full display come Thursday evening. Tim Tadlock's troupe has shown it's more than just a pretty Big 12 face; Tech can beat the big dogs (or Gators).
