Devaugntah Williams, one of the brightest spots on Texas Tech's young basketball team, was absolutely clutch Saturday, hitting a three with just seconds left to propel Texas Tech to win its final home game of this season, 63-62.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys, who were thought to be an 8-seed in this year's NCAA Tournament, simply didn't show up in the first half, and Texas Tech played to keep it that way.

A rain of threes was featured by Toddrick Gotcher, who logged 17, in the final moments of the first half, and big man Norense Odiase, who finished with 14, even got in on the fun, hitting an almost-buzzer beater three, his one and only three-point attempt of the year. Robert Turner and Devaugntah Williams both added 11 points apiece.

The biggest defensive exclamation point of the afternoon was Tech holding Phil Forte III, one of the Cowboys' leading scorers, to absolutely nothing.

Texas Tech closes out the year against Baylor, in Waco, on Friday, March 6th.
