Last Wednesday, the Red Raiders needed overtime to beat the Cowboys from Oklahoma State; this Wednesday the Red Raiders needed 45 minutes to beat the Cyclones of Iowa State, and they did just that with an 85-82 final.

Leave it to the bench to take the reins, as Tech's subs scored 39 points, most notably Devaungtah Williams, who seemed to reemerge in the Red Raiders' offense with 19 points including two threes. Not to be outdone, however, was steady-handed Aaron Ross who logged 20 points including three triples. Keenan Evans also had a big night with a rare 17 points.

Texas Tech has been so desperate for a win, especially at home, and finally did just enough to capture it, but now the attention turns to Baylor on Saturday, as the Red Raiders will take a trip down to Waco.
