The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for Texas in November 2018 was 3.7 percent, the same 42-year low as it was in October, and the same as the United States’ overall rate.

The Texas Economy added 14,000 seasonally adjusted non-farm jobs last month, and annual employment growth for Texas was 3 percent, marking 103 consecutive months of annual growth.

The lowest unemployment rate was held by Midland at 2.1 percent, and the highest belonged to the McAllen-Edinburg-Mission area with 5.8 percent. Lubbock’s rate held at 2.7 percent, the same as October. Amarillo’s rate was 2.5 percent, also the same as October.
