Texas Weapons Laws Make No Sense

You can have guns and knives, but that doesn't mean you can have everything.

Expanding on a conversation we had on The RockShow, carrying "brass knuckles" or other weapons with finger holes is still illegal. in Texas.  Why? Well, there's really no lobbying group to step up and get rid of this lunacy.

You may or may not have seen those pointy ear car keychains. Those are intended to be used for self-defence and you could get the user a year in jail.  So let's go through this again, guns legal, knives legal (including spring activated in case you heard the original conversation) but plastic kitty key ring with finger holes and pointy ears is illegal.

My advice to ladies? Protect yourself and worry about the consequences later. Oh, and I'm not a lawyer, I just have common sense.
