The 19th Annual Apple Butter Festival Rescheduled For September 27-28

Eleven days of precipitation on the South Plains has forced Idalou's Apple Country Orchards to reschedule the 19th Annual Apple Butter Festival for September 27-28.

Here's a great way for the entire family to spend some quality time together and help out Meal on Wheels this upcoming weekend.

The 2014 Apple Butter Festival features BBQ, music, hays rides through the orchard, children's activities, and of course, apple picking!

Mere words can't describe how juicy and delicious a fresh picked apple tastes that's been grown right here on the South Plains.

The Apple Butter Festival: September 27-28 from 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. at the Apple Country Orchards in Idalou, TX.

All proceeds benefit Meals on Wheels and Metropolitan Lubbock Rotary charities.
