“The Blues” Hand Crafted Guitars Benefit Post 9/11 Veterans
It's hard to believe that this year will mark the eleventh anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Dwight Maddox, of MDX Guitars, has created two hand crafted guitars to commemorate and benefit Post 9/11 veterans.
The guitars, dubbed "The Blues" were handcrafted over eight months, pay tribute to the Blue Angels and the F/A 18 Hornet aircraft.
"The Blues" were officially donated to the U.S. Seventh Fleet Band, and are used by sailors, fleet family members, and at various public events.
Maddox, then used the scrap wood from the guitars, and created 400 limited edition series Blue Angel ink pens. The proceeds from the pens, will challenge two veterans to continue a mission of community service through the Mission Continue's Fellowship Program.
God Bless America...
