The Bridge of Lubbock to Host Lip Sync Battle With Cash Prizes
Do you love to sing or rap to your favorite songs? Are you willing to take it to the next level with costumes and props? The Bridge of Lubbock is hosting a Lip Sync Battle where 1st, 2nd and 3rd place take home a ton of cash.
According to Whitney Owen, director of The Bridge:
The Bridge of Lubbock is very excited to announce its first ever Lip Sync Battle Fundraiser! We will give away CASH PRIZES. First place will take home $500. It will be held on Friday, February 24th from 7-9pm. Team registration is $40. We will only be able to accept the first 30 teams that sign up. The contestants will be judged by local celebrity judges.
Solo entries are accepted too, and it is high encouraged to make your act a "full performance," complete with costumes, props and every team member participating fully. All songs must be submitted in advance as this is a family friendly event. If you're interested, sign up soon as they are only taking 30 teams. The registration form is available online now at the Bridge of Lubbock's website.
The Bridge of Lubbock provides meals for the homeless, after school programs for children and a clothes closet for those in need, in addition to many other programs that benefit residents of East Lubbock.
