The Peps release "I'm With you" is one of the most joyous and inspiring discs I've ever heard.  I highly recommend you set aside some time and listen to the disc two or three times back to back.  Once you've digested "I'm With You" in it's entirety, get read for a mini-follow up.  Details after the jump.

To celebrate their induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, the Chili Peppers are putting out a digital e.p. of covers from other bands that have been inducted into the Hall of Fame.  In fairness some of the tracks have been available before as "B" sides, but this collection is very cool.  Here's the track listing from the Peps web site:

“A Teenager in Love” (Dion and the Belmonts)

“Havana Affair” (Ramones)

“Search & Destroy” (Iggy and the Stooges)

“Everybody Knows This is Nowhere” (Neil Young) [live]

“I Get Around” (The Beach Boys) [live]

“Suffragette City” (David Bowie) [live]

The e.p. will be available for download on May 1st. Here's the video for "Look Around" to keep you busy until the download drops.
