The Cult And Bob Rock Reunite On New Record [VIDEO]

It’s been 22 years since The Cult and producer Bob Rock made one of my favorite rock records of all-time, 1989′s “Sonic Temple”.

Well, they’ve teamed up again for the bands ninth cd that will be out in April of 2012. Bassist Chris Wyse states that the record will be on the Cooking Vinyl Record label and says the new stuff is a mix of Zepp/Stooges and “showcases a new level of depth for The Cult.”

Cult frontman Ian Astbury joined Ozzy, Lemmy, Myles Kennedy, and Dave Grohl on Slash’s 2010 solo record “Slash”. Look for the new Cult disc to be avalible on vinyl,CD, DVD, USB, and digitally.

Make it sweet and check out the video…
