Back in the day, I had the opportunity to see The Cult on the "Electric" tour and it rocked. The Cult will hit the road this summer and will revive "Electric" by doing the entire record live.

Ian Astbury breaks its down:  “The Cult’s life blood has always been playing live. We are between albums and decided to continue the momentum created by "Choice of Weapon,’ stay in people’s hearts and minds. As ‘Love’ Live was such an incredible experience, we have decided that performing the ‘Electric’ album, an event that has been demanded by our fans and followers as the perfect live set to play in 2013.”

The classic 1987 disc was produced by Rick Rubin and features rockers like "Lil' Devil," "Wild Flower" and "Love Removal Machine."

In addition to the entire "Electric" album, the shows will also include a second set that will showcase many of The Cult's ripping tunes.

The Cult will make three stops on the Texas leg of the tour with shows on 8/30-Houston, 9/1-Dallas, 9/3 in Austin,Texas.
