This little video blew my mind. I guess many of you have had a government class or something that has explained this, but it was a bit of an eye opener for me. This is a non-partisan look at the relationship between a President and Congress when it comes to paying bills. It explains this in a way that will show you just how much we are being "played" by Congress.

I encourage you to watch this video, but here it is in the nutshell.  Congress passes a budget , the President is legally required to fund that budget, but if there is not enough money he has to go to Congress to pay the bills on the stuff THEY approved of in the budget.  Wow.  Mind blown.  So, the fact of the matter is, it is ALWAYS congresses fault if the U.S. can't pay the bills. It is literally that simple.  It is also literally that insane that this is how the U.S. does business.
