The Evil Dead 2013 Red Band Trailer Has Been Released

The Evil Dead Trilogy is one of my absolutely favorite series ever.  Now, Evil Dead 2 is basically a slightly higher, slightly funnier version of the first movie. The third movie is actually "Army Of Darkness" which genre jumps from comedy to horror to medieval adventure. So with all the jumping around of the first three movies, I don't really have a problem with a remake.  More after the jump.

The new Evil Dead movie is not a retelling of the first story, and it's not (apparently) a completely new story either.  It lands somewhere in between.  It does appear that there's a self amputation scene and yes, some chainsaw action, but there's a lot of different stuff too.  Be warned, this is very, very graphic!
