The Lubbock Concert Season Is Starting To Take Shape

Okay. I’m a big mouth. I just have to tease you guys. I heard possible lineups for Xfest, The Big Purple Party II and The FMX Birthday Bash today. All I can say is you better grab some depends because you’re going to s*** yourself if they come together the way I heard today.

First off, we weren’t sure if we were ever going to do another “FMX Big Purple Party”, but with all the “X-Fests” out there, we were going to probably switch over to that idea, but…..yes…why not do both?  It’s likely we will have two festivals to look forward to (probably around March).

Also, the FMX Birthday Bash is right around the corner. I hate to say it, but we’re putting all our eggs in one basket. If that one doesn’t come through, I’m going to be crushed.  It’s a big one we’re looking at for sure.  Then again, we don’t really have a problem going “small” for our annual family reunion either.

With all of this in mind, don’t forget that we have a KILLER show for you this Saturday.  Filter headlines and Jake’s with Fight Or Flight opening.  You may have heard Fight Or Flight’s song “First Of The Last” on FMX, but did you know that the band is basically half of Disturbed?  And did you know the singer is from Evan’s Blue?  Or that the bass player is from the band Ra? Get yourself out and support this show.  It looks like we won’t have another major show until mid-January (the FMX Birthday Bash) at least.
