The Masses Don’t Care What You Think About Five Finger Death Punch

Let's start out with a simple fact. Five Finger Death Punch played on 10/26/13 and now 10/21/14. That's a year. Sorry some of you can't count and like to bitch and moan that they're here "every six months." We'd be LUCKY to have the guys here every six months.

Iron Maiden and Pantera both used to play Lubbock on very tight tour cycles -- in fact a lot tighter than 5FDP.

None of this really matters. My opinion doesn't matter either. All that matters is that insane amount of people showed up to rock and they don't care what you think.

They didn't say, 'oh, well, this band sucks, but I'm going to drop $50 to see them anyways.' They also didn't prevent anyone else from coming to town. They brought a ton of life to Lubbock, Texas on a boring-ass Tuesday. They should get some kind of award.

The people who complain about things like this are little more than haters. Other bands take notice when they see "Lubbock" on someone's tour schedule. Ivan & the guys have also proven that they're not tired of Lubbock either and bring it every show. All you have to do is look into the faces of the people who were there and they'll tell you: "one of the best shows ever."

Ivan Moody is off to make a solo album after this tour. Then, the band will probably make another album. It may be 2-3 years before they hit the road again and at least people got a chance to get a full tank of them before they take a break.

Even with this said, if they turn around and come back in three months, we'll welcome them all the way.
