In a world of Uber and Airbnb, it only makes sense that a thriving college town like Lubbock would have a food delivery service. And while two Texas Tech students recently took the situation into their own hands, there's another app on the prowl and ready to deliver whatever your heart (and your stomach) desires.

With a quick install of The Butler app, you can place an order at any store in town and wait for the food to come to you. Their website's headline is: "Have a need, summon the butler." Their promise is to offer speedy and dependable service to the area.

Delivery times are specific with this app. Sunday through Wednesday, you can order from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. On Thursday through Saturday, you can get your fix from 10 a.m. to 3 a.m. The pricing for the deliveries includes a $6 delivery fee, a $5 butler tip, and a 5 percent processing fee.

This app has gotten great reviews from locals who have used it. You can check out their Facebook page for more info.
