Talk about some dumb sh@t. We had all of these rumbling and threats throughout the "Big 12" conference and the conference most wanted to go to  just said "no thanks."

1340thefan broke the news yesterday. Now what's going to happen?  Chances are the Big 12 will stick around, but there are big, big obstacles in the way.  At the root is UT who other members think is getting a disproportionate part of the revenue. OU has demanded the commissioner be fired. A & M says "we're gone" and that's it. Baylor is suing to keep A & M from going. Texas Tech appears to just be following whatever UT is doing. Oklahoma State is following OU. Others are looking to fill the two holes in the Big 12 since Nebraska and Colorado left.

Who says the days of soap operas are over?
