Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda has hooked up with Chino Moreno to score the soundtrack to the new film "The Raid:Redemption". When the movies director Gareth Evans approached Shinoda on the film, his main concern was that he wanted to make a soundtrack that was fun. According to Shinoda, the one big challenge was to create a sound that portrayed each character in the film. Each character was given a sound rather than a theme.

The film was a official selection of the Sundance and the SXSW film festivals.

"The Raid:Redemption" will open in San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Washington D.C. on March 23 and hits theaters nationwide on April 13th.
