Wow, this list ended up being an eye-opener even for me. The Real Five is the top five most played songs. The idea behind this list is it is indisputable and critic proof. You can claim one song is better than another, but most played is most played and that is it. The first couple on the list were givens, but I was a little bit surprised at #4 and #5.

Bon Scott died 35 years ago today and the age of 36. He left an awesome legacy and some of the most enduring rock anthems of all time.  I've put them together in a video playlist for you but here's the list.

1. Highway To Hell. This was the title track of the last album Bon recorded with the band before cashing it in. It was from the 5th international AC/DC album and sixth release overall, which shows that sometimes it takes a band a bit of time to grow into themselves.

2. T.N.T. Once again international and Aussie releases are slightly different. While those of us in the U.S. were able to pick up this song on the 1976 release "High Voltage", the Aussie album was actually called "T.N.T."

3. Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. This album this came from was also released in 1976 and the title track became one of the bands biggest anthems. This has to be the ultimate fist pumper in concert.

4. It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock And Roll). I fully expected some of the follow up tracks from the Highway To Hell Album to claim fourth and fifth place on the list, but no.  This track from High Voltage was re-popularized by it's appearance in the movie School Of Rock. It also features bagpipes well before Jonathan Davis featured them in a Korn song.

5. Whole Lotta Rosie. Yes, the big girl is here. Rosie is from the 1977 album "Let There Be Rock" and outpaced other Bon Scott classics like "If You Want Blood (You Got It)", "Girls Got Rhythm", "Shot Down In Flames" and "Problem Child".

Here's the songs all in a row for you to listen to:
