The Texas Top Ten: Pantera’s Top Ten
I saw a Loudwire list of the top ten Pantera songs and it was off, to say the least. Then I realized, those Yankee baby-bottle suckers don’t know what’s up with the official Metal Band of Texas. More after the jump.

If you really want to see what those East Coast spaghetti-eaters think, then go here. They have reasons for their track listings, but I still think their list is shaky. In short, their list goes like this:
Goddamn Electric
Five Minutes Alone
Suicide Note I & II (this cheating, this is two songs)
This Love
Becoming
Mouth For War
Cemetery Gates
F’ing Hostile
Domination
#1. Walk
Notice anything missing? Of course you do. You know Pantera. Here’s the real FMX/Texas list.
I’m Broken
Revolution Is My Name
Five Minutes Alone
Drag the Waters
This Love
Hole In the Sky
Mouth For War
Cemetery Gates
Cowboys From Hell
#1. Walk (sorry fans, this song being number one is undeniable, it just has too much influence worldwide, even A7X covered it, Disturbed and Nickelback covered it in concert and more)
Two honorable mentions: Planet Caravan (a Sabbath song like “Hole In the Sky” but Pantera made it their own) and New Found Power by Damageplan (yeah, I know this is a Pantera list, but you guys don’t even know how proud Dime was of Damageplan).
And finally, in honor of the one missing song that makes their list look like it was put together by numbnuts, here’s Cowboys From Hell:
