Well Rick and the crew are holed up in a new town just waiting to be attacked and we have to wait until after the break to see what's up. With that in mind, I'm going to assume that you guys are up for the idea of checking out another horror/suspense series in the downtime. I have have three suggestions for you.

First, I'm going to go ahead and assume that everyone has already checked out a season or two of American Horror Story. Myself, I was only interested in season one and three.  Anyways, there's some great stuff out there that is worth your time and heres three that I really enjoy.

Bates Motel.  Man this show is incredibly well done. It's a slow burn as you watch Norman unravel. At times you also wonder if it's Norman or someone else unraveling. The whole town is creepy, almost Twin Peaks style, and the woman playing Norman Bate's mother is phenomenal in the part.  There are two seasons of Bates Motel just waiting for you right now on Netflix. Give it a couple of episodes and you'll be hooked.

Hannibal. This show is beautiful. The deaths are unbelievably orchestrated and the whole thing is just haunting. There is just scene up scene upon scene that will stick in your brain and live there forever.  There are beautiful dinners where you don't know if Hannibal is serving beef or brains. Most of all, in the first seasons, the big question is, who is crazier, Hannibal,  or the guy who is trying to catch him.  This one isn't currently on Netflix, but it looks like you can get it on Hulu or Amazon.

Penny Dreadful. Man this show has a lot of promise. It's not perfect yet, but it has it's moments. The show is set in Victorian England and features versions of Dracula, The Wolfman, Frankenstein, Dorian Grey and others all interacting. Hottie actress Eva Green in a title roll. You can call season one up on Showtime on demand, with season two starting May 3rd.
