On this day 46 years ago, arguably one the most influential artists from the nineties was born into this world.

Today we can look back an reflect on what exactly he brought to the world with his world-renowned band Nirvana.

Smash hits that took over airwaves like "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and "Come As You Are" pumped Cobain's voice and guitar lines out of speakers around the world.

Nevermind found huge success for Nirvana, with both of the aforementioned songs being on that same record, along with other hits like "In Bloom" and "Lithium".

Without a doubt, Kurt Cobain was a huge influence on a lot of young musicians in the past couple of decades, and even today he draws worldwide attention from many up and coming artists.
