Metal shapeshifters Trivium are still proudly touting their latest release, 2015's Silence in the Snow, their seventh full length effort. Currently lighting up the Active Rock charts with the single "Until the World Goes Cold," the band has released the music video for another song, "Dead and Gone."

Opening with a grey-haired, elderly man lying in bed affixed with an IV, he rips the tube out from his arm and walks to the bathroom. Splashing his face with water, he swallows a handful of pills and heads outside, looking back at his residence before venturing out into the woods. Happening upon a canoe by the shore with a paddle ready to go, he sets out on the lake, but clutches his heart shortly after paddling out.

Back on the shore, a masqueraded figure looks over him, standing above, adorned with the mask from the Silence in the Snow album cover. Blood drips on the old man's face, waking him and he stands up, only to tumble back into the water. From here, the video spans between mixed images of worms, the masked figure and the man struggling in the water as a cloak envelopes him. Eventually, he finds himself in a graveyard where he collapses and symbols of death once again enter the video.

Trivium will be hitting the road to promote Silence in the Snow, serving as the direct support act for Sevendust on their forthcoming spring tour. Like A Storm will open the shows. For a full list of tour dates, visit our 2016 Guide to Rock + Metal Tours.
