A two-car crash in Lubbock killed one of the drivers Tuesday afternoon.

An SUV and a truck collided at the intersection of the north- and westbound access roads of I-27 and the Marsha Sharp Freeway around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, said the Lubbock Police Department, killing Colette Escobedo, 28.

Police said Escobedo was the car’s lone occupant, but did not specify which car, or comment on the other driver.
